Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours - it’s that easy. We're not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.
The New York Times ad…Firefox Flicks…the Firefox crop circle…Operation Firefox…you name it! The Firefox community is always up to some cool, collaborative way to declare their passion for Firefox. What better way to do this than band together to set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours?!

We recently posted a document about Instant Messaging Safety and how to stay sate online. Well we have looked into our capablitites and have created an online instant mesageing service to give you live support with your online questions and we have made sure that we have kept it as safe as posible. The new service also hosts a chat room service where you can form small groups and talk about things you find online and even come up with some usefull advice for others. Maybe you could use our service to help others stay safe online.
We call this new service People as it is to be driven for the people by the people.
We are looking for a group of volunteers to moderate this service and ensure that people on the messenger stay safe.

You can give this new service a try by heading over to im.phoenixfox.info. The service is still in beta at the moment and the site currenly only includes the messenger itself but we are working on the rest.
